A really good essence! It’s so affordable yet so moisturizing. I use it both at night and during the day. The only problem I have with it is that it leaves a very sticky feeling once applied to the skin (even my snail essence from the same brand is not that sticky). It doesn’t seem sticky at all when you pump it out of the container, but once it is spread out and start drying, it feels like I dried glue. It is really weird. Yet the sticky feeling goes away once I apply my cream and it didn’t clogged my pore at all, which is why I will keep using it and probably repurchase it once I run out.

Really great essence! I use this after my night routine and it feels a bit tacky but sinks in and becomes really soft and smooth. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels so soft. I have super acne prone and sensitive skin and choosing new skin care is really difficult for me because I tend to break out to almost everything. I took a risk with this and im so glad I did! LOVE LOVE LOVE

At first I was very content because after applying this in the evening my skin looked great the next morning and my the makeup I used afterwards looked flawless. But after using this a few more times my skin started to break out a little bit and became dry. Furthermore, it is very sticky in comparison to so many other Korean products I use and bought via ibuybeauti etc. Moreover, the bottle is made of plastic which is good if you want to travel but I prefer these which are made of glass. Next point: I wanted to use it in combination with my other Korean products which are from Missha Sulwhasoo etc. but it felt like glue on my skin. Normally, I like the dewy look but this didn’t only look dewy it also felt so uncomfortable. The Benton Essence for example is absorbed faster, doesn’t leave my skin sticky and works fine with all other products. In conclusion I love Korean products but this one made my skin dry after a few days and is very very sticky. (I have combined skin, a little bit dry and oily, which can be regulated with cosmetic products)

I love using this following a moisturiser or sleeping mask, I feel it really locks in the moisture of my skin. The application is a little tacky but when you work it with your fingers and move the remainder product to your neck , it works very well.

This is the first COSRX product that I’ve been disappointed at (although this could be because the other products were just so good). The product does its job in moisturising my skin (hence the three stars) but it has a really sticky consistency that takes a while to absorb into the skin. While my skin is moisturised, I wouldn’t say that it’s very moisturised. But it does not irritate my skin.

EDIT: I’m still using this product after a few months and have had more opportunity to test this product. You know how when you have a runny nose and if you keep using tissues to wipe your nose, your nose becomes flaky (well, mine does)? Well, I slathered this product all over my nose during the time I was sick and I didn’t get flaky skin at all. I was pleasantly surprised. So perhaps this is a good product for those times when you have VERY dry skin but I wouldn’t use this for daily use.
