I have been using this for about a week and I love it. I wanted a new make up remover and wanted to try a balm.
I use a moderate amount of daily makeup and found that this balm does remove 90% of it and a little goes a long way. I only need about a dime size of this product and just massage into my face so this jar should last a while.
It is a little drying not as bad as some other makeup removers but adding some essence and moisturizer after I finish works perfectly after using this product.
I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to try a new makeup remover.

Easily the best cleanser I’ve used. I used to use a cleansing oil but found it too messy.
I use this to remove my face makeup (I use a separate oil cleanser to remove my waterproof mascara) and it is so quick, unmessy and easy to use. It leaves my skin clean but not dry (my skin is normal to oily) and doesn’t irritate my skin in any way. I don’t require anything else to double cleanse with, as this gets rid of everything.
A little goes a long way, and my original 100ml pot lasted about 3 months. It’s so good that I repurchased a giant pot of it, and I know I will continue to use it for a long time to come!

I found out recently about this makeup remover oil. I’m totally love the smell which isn’t strong scent when I use it. 100% no irritation plus it’s soften and brighten my skin after use. This is the best cleaner ever- no wonder JIHYO from running man uses it (it was on get it beauty). Basically it’s like a sherbet formula and you use it to clean off eye makeup and lip makeup with EASE. This is the best solid type oil cleanser because it does not clog your pores at all or cause acne on my super sensitive skin. this is one of the best cleansers I have ever used! Never tried a balm type of cleanser and I was skeptical whether it will be as good as shu uemura cleansing oil, but it was comparable! A little bit goes a long way, leaving my face feeling soft and clean.

This is the best cleanser i have ever tried. I have used so many cleansing oils but this banila co. Balm cleanser is the bomb. It get rids of the makeup and dirt on your face and this doesn’t leave your face like its been stripped of anything healthy from your face. You don’t need to rub your face harshly to get rid of the gunk on your face, you only need to massage your face gently and the makeup and dirt just melts away. After hearing much rave about this product on YouTube from many Korean youtubers, I decided to give this cleansing balm a try. I previously had been using the Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil, and had repurchased and used about 2 of those. I did enjoy the Kose Softymo Cleansing Oil, especially for the price and easy accessibility, and it does a great job of removing all my makeup. However, since I will be touring Asia soon and wanted a mess free way of traveling, I placed the Banila co. cleansing balm in my New Year order to make sure that I test-try the product beforehand, to make sure I’m not allergic to this product (have very sensitive skin). I JUST LOVE THIS STUFF. I’ve only had this product for a full week and my decision was decided after the first time I used it tbh. It’s easy to use w/ the spatula and the clear little thing you place inside the tube, but does NOT touch the product. It’s super hygienic, mess free, cute packaging, and the product itself is amazing. It’s really easy to scoop and a little goes a long way. I wash my hands, then scoop about a quarter size, place it on the back of my hand, and then close the tube. It melts instantly once I rub the balm on my face and it does a fantastic job of removing my face of sunscreen, primer, bb cream, powder, mascara, eye shadow & stubborn waterproof eyeliner, and a little bronzer. The cleansing oil doesn’t strip my face of moisture and leaves it moisturized. The scent isn’t overpowering, but it’s a light, sweet, sherbet smell (in my opinion). I’ve used one of the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm before and that is a lot harder to scoop + no spatula and it does the job of removing makeup good FOR $29. The Clinique balm takes a little bit more rubbing as it doesn’t melt instantly. Almost half the price and although the Banila co is about .4 oz. of less product, I have to pick this over the Clinique. RECOMMEND, THOROUGH CLEANSING IS A HAPPY FACE. #holygrail

This is by far the best cleanser I’ve ever tried. The balm formula can feel overly oily, but that wasn’t a problem at all for my dry skin. It didn’t leave my face feeling tight afterwards. A tiny amount is enough to remove my full face of makeup: waterproof mascara included. But what I loved most about this product is its smell: to me it smells like marshmallows ^^

I have been using this product and was running out, so this is a repurchase. It’s one of the best makeup removers I’ve used. The sherbet texture that melts into oil upon contact dissolves the makeup so easily, and it leaves your skin clean but not too dry. However, I find I need to wash my face again with regular cleanser and facial brush to remove all the glitter from eyeshadow/eyeliners.

Ive tried this balm because I saw Song Ji Hyo demonstrated it in get it beauty and REALLY LOVE IT! the balm texture ensure that it won’t get messy at all but as soon as you scoop it and put on your face, you just need to massage gently and it melted right away. It removes whatever proof make up you apply on your face. I had full make up on and I don’t even have to separate between the eye makeup remover and face makeup remover, and it removes everything easily. Save a lot of your time and your money. Where do all these reviews come from?
The fragrance is nice and light. But that is the only good thing i can squeeze out of my brain without being dishonest. The product is almost impossible to rinse off complete since its sort of fat/oil based in order to remove water-resistant makeup. I would however have forgiven this if it actually was good in removing my makeup and not just blending it out all over my face giving me a very “just cried with ton of mascara look”. The difficulty of removing the product from your face once you’ve applied it very hard on your tools that will have to scrape off the remaining of your makeup and the cream. I’m frankly disappointed and a bit suspicious about these reviews…

I have had high expectation when using this product. It didnt disappoint me, i like the formula of this cleanser. The moment you massage on your face it melts of fto an oil consistency. I really liked how it removed all my makeup including my mascara. It left my skin soft and clean. However, the only drawback is that its hard to remove because of its oily consistency, i had a difficult time removing it from my lashes. Its still a great product though!

This is the best oil cleanser/makeup remover I have tried! This remove all of my makeup without irritating my skin. Also it is not messy at all like most oil cleanser where it drips down my arms while I wash my face. However, I am a little concern that whenever I use this cleanser to take off my eyes makeup, it get cloudy for a few seconds.

This is by far the best oil cleanser I had use. It breaks down my make up and waterproof liners and mascara in a minute. I had used other oil cleaners before like the recipe rose one but it cant even beat this oil cleansing balm. One scoop is enough and I don’t feel oily or dry after washing it ogg with water. I haven’t found the perfect makeup removing oil yet but this comes close. This is amazing at removing all forms of makeup including waterproof mascara/eyeliner and lip products. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that you do need to rinse it off really well with water afterwards and if it does get in your eye, although it doesn’t sting, it can take a few rinses to get it all out. The “oil balm” texture is really nice but it can get a bit annoying when I need more product and need to go back in with the little scoop. I find liquid formulas in a pump bottle easier to use. However, I will continue to repurchase until I find the perfect makeup removing oil.

This is my current favorite makeup removing oil because it really gets the job done. This oil melt away all of my makeup in one try. what I do with this oil cleanser is that I use a small amount of product, put it on the four corner of my face, massages my face, and than wash everything away with warm water. And what’s amazing about this oil cleanser is that after I washed my face, my face didn’t feel sticky and oily like my other oil cleanser product. it actually feel really clean without they oily feeling. This is a very good oil cleanser and I would totally recommended to anyone who is looking for a good makeup oil remover, and yes, i will repurchase again.

I have been using this cleansing balm for two months now and I’ve been liking it so far. It removes stubborn mascaras and long wearing lip tints and melts easily upon application. It’s very easy to use since it’s in a balm form and does not drip down my arms while applying to my face. I still need to follow up with a foam cleanser though since this does fully remove the cushion foundation that I use. It’s gentle on my skin and there is no residue left on my skin after rinsing this off.

It makes my face feel extremely soft and smooth after cleansing and I don’t get that dry, squeaky, tight feeling that I used to get with the Shiseido cleanser. I think it might actually be slightly more moisturizing! I have really dry skin in general, so this was a huge plus. It also doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue like some cleansing oils can. If you get it in your eyes, it doesn’t sting but it does blur your vision for a few minutes (I imagine this is because of the oil residue?). It’s not really a problem for me, since I can wash it off after a few tries.
As a make-up remover, I’d say it’s pretty good. You may need a dedicated make-up remover for those really hard to remove make up, but this does it’s job pretty well.

The Clean It Zero Purity stings my eyes when I used my friend’s before but this product is very gentle for both my eyes and skin. I do get dried a bit after use so I make sure to finish with a toner and moisturizer. I also recommend rinsing your face with a different cleanser after using this product because for me, I just want to make sure that I take everything off of my face 😀

I really like how this one is a balm and then turns into an oil once it comes in contact with skin/warmth. It does a great job removing both my face makeup and eye makeup. I looove this balm! It has so much product and will last you for months. It removes all my makeup but I make sure to wipe my makeup away first with the face shop herb day cleansing tissue then use this product. Avoid getting a lot directly in the eye area, try to move around your eye because it leaves a blurry vision after wash but does not hurt.

Although this balm gets rid of my makeup, I’m not super happy with it. I wear waterproof mascara and sometimes eyeliner as well and if I want to remove it with this product, it always ends up getting in my eye a little bit which stings and leave an annoying film on my eyes. It does the job, but it’s not very comfortable this way. I’ve started removing my eye makeup first with some oil pads and using the clean it zero after this, which is much better, but not really what I was going for. I’ve heard the heimish one doesn’t have this problem so I’m probably gonna try that one next.

Good cleansing balm, gets the work done and removes all my makeup (even when I do heavy editorial looks lmao) but if I had to choose between this one and the Heimish one I think I would stick to Heimish. Don’t get me wrong there’s nothing bad with this one but I do prefer the other’s texture. They are pretty much the same thing but for some reason I find Heimish to be a little lighter in both formula and scent. Still, this is a great option as well and I will continue to use it!
